As a dynamic entrepreneur with an energetic, creative spirit and a degree in textiles and merchandising from the University of Rhode Island, Tara specializes in designing simple, elegant, cozy, eclectic, and fun spaces that reflect each client’s unique personality.
Her passion for design and natural ability to connect with clients result in personalized living spaces that feel effortlessly like home.
A proud Rhode Island native, Tara resides in East Greenwich with her husband, Mike, where she raised her two sons, Earl and Elliot. Whether it’s design expertise or insider tips about Rhode Island, Tara is your go-to resource and trusted design professional!
Jason Thomas Cahill
Founder and Creative Director of Preppygangstas
Jason Thomas Cahill, the visionary founder and creative director of the Preppygangstas brand, was born in New York and raised between New York and North Carolina. He spent 16 transformative years in Europe, predominantly in the “La Belle Epoque” neighborhood of Vinohrady in Prague, Czechia. This extensive time abroad gave Jason the unique privilege of immersing himself in a rich tapestry of cultural aesthetics.
While based in Prague, Jason embraced the opportunity for continuous European travel, which expanded to adventures throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia—journeys that spanned both peaceful and war-torn landscapes. Reflecting on his travels, Jason often recalls the wisdom that “light can be found even in the darkest of places.” Even amidst bomb threats or elegant lunches at The Langham in London, he discovered moments of creative clarity and inspiration.
His experiences are preserved in a striking visual archive, providing endless inspiration for his projects. At the Preppygangstas atelier, Jason presents exquisite home décor and gift items, offering clients a refined and distinctive shopping experience.
